About Us

Central Question

How has the misinformation and biases of news sources created socio-political bipolarity between the teens, aged 12-18, in the US and China?

This project was a campaign aimed to combat the misinformation and disinformation of different sources that have resulted in the polarization of the Chinese and American populations. For more on the misconceptions of people within the two populations, refer to Issue 0.5. This widespread misinformation has further propagated by selective reporting and the inherent biases of news sources that individuals may have access to. Source Counter-Source is a biannually published journal that focuses on recent issues regarding the US and China, hoping to extract information from a variety of sources and create a more neutral perspective for readers on both sides to understand the true nature of the issues.
